I penned this poem after seeing President Trump stepping on North Korea soil.
Courage
What is courage?
For me there are only two groups of people:
The ones that live in fear and darkness
And the others that live in light, unafraid
The ones that live in fear,
Fear of unknown, fear of change,
Fear of relationships,
Fear of war and conflict,
Fear of natural disasters
Their mind and thoughts program itself
And what they fear the most will come and haunt them
The other group chose light
And fear of nothing
Their minds and thoughts
Will bring them only happiness and success
What is courage?
The desire and ability to change from dark to light!
Edward, thank you for sharing with us the information that only few know about the war in North Korea.
However, I still think that diplomacy as a way to avoid conflict is a much better solution than war.

Courage? I agree that courage arises from love, and cowardice arises from fear. Examples: Let's not forget the battle of Chosin Reservoir in North Korea in the winter of 1950 where our Army and Marines suffered 18,000 causualities, including 2,500 dead, 5,000 wounded, and 8,000 more who suffered frostbite in -40 degree cold. They did not have the luxury to walk a few paces on the DMZ for a 2-hour photo op to be shown perhaps 10,000 times on American TVs during the upcoming campaign as an example of FAKE courage by one whose closest call with war and conflict was to dodge Vietnam War with a FAKE diagnosis of a bone spur in his foot. Heroes live quiet lives without the need to choreograph re-election courage.
I am so proud of President Trump! He is so focused in all the things he needs to do and is ignoring all the lies from the Dems and the media to make him look bad. America has the best president but sadly, not a lot of people would understand him, and the media just keep on telling lies about him. He will always be the best president of the United States in my mind.
The Dems are feeding fear to the public. The millennial kids learn NOTHING in school, but ask for free education. The Dems ask for free medicare as if money grows from trees. America can't even deal with paying the medicare NOW, how are they going to give free healthcare for all, including the migrants? There is a degree of stupidity, and the Dems has topped it.
It was certainly a watershed moment in World politics. As NK's dictator asserted: Trump was courageous. I'm certain there was some degree of courage involved on his part. Irrespective of Trumps personal agendas; to open some aspect of communicating (with our enemies) is just wise. I agree that Light is the key. Thank you for sharing. r
I don't think that Donald Trump's impromptu meeting with the brutal dictator of North Korea took any courage. Both of them are media stars who love every opportunity to be in the spotlight where they can smile and pretend to be friends. It is in Donald Trump's nature to do rash things to get attention. He needs attention from admirers to get reelected. Reminds me of a spoiled child. The same thing with the dictator. So spoiled, he killed his brother running interference in anyone who opposes him in his absolute greed for power and prestige.
