Night falls soundlessly but resoundingly
Through the dark redounding to the light
Found rebounding at the other end of night
At nightfall all around me I see
How the light out of sight becomes insight
Inviting me to see what becomes of me
From inside out I see stars become bright
How the light out of sight comes in sight
Becoming the stars and me coming to be
Making me see I have what it takes
By overcoming my many mistakes
To be anyway now unmistakably
Starlight ending up in insight when
The ending begins transcending again
Tomorrow is rising as night falls tonight
Insight is hope in sight after all
Despite being out of sight until then
Before my eyes to my surprise at nightfall
When it gets dark it lets the light shine
It knows and shows me how to do this to
Get through what I have to by this thing I do
What I hope for really nothing more
Than maybe I can be remembered for
Being here and doing this on my way through
The light within that might have always been
Right about my way out being in
Agreeing with stars like sparks of the divine
Trying for the sky as the night goes by
Here in the dark I am a spark too
The hope that lights within knows and shows me why
