Close by at my right hand
Speak to the ear that still can hear
Ourselves until the stars appear
Through the deep velvet blue
Come diamonds from not too far
Since this is where they are
To keep an eye on us if you
Some new reality come true
If you ask I may show you my
I never won my wings but I
Could see forever through
The velvet blue as I recall
The stars are not too far out here
Without falling out of the sky
But they do sometimes and
If they do may you be close by
This is where they go when they fall
If you can see farsightedly
The stars are not too far
To reach out to and wonder why
