Living it down on the downlow
But living up to my potential
When everything is existential
Between to be and not to be
I am here to see what I mean so
I stay to the end of the play
To be a curious thing to do
Is how I am still here anyway
To leave now might be rude of me
I can write about it all the way
I think this helps me think it through
Say what I mean and mean what I say
Between the lines where I come true
Like a dream I never quite forgot
I believe in that makes me stay
Curious about what I might see
My question why becomes why not
Grateful for the Godgivenness of
Giving it all and living for love
Seems how to be forgivenly
From my living up and down I know
To hang on and write poetry
How from now on until I am gone
But still curious I will hang on
