Embrace the Mystery



A pessimist can be a pest
Not to be binary
But I prefer an optimist
Who can encourage me
A fatalist sometimes depressed
Haunted wanting to be

Having had both good news and bad
Never mind the latter
Having gone through some hard and sad
Things madly but come true
Though mad so good the good I had
No bad news could matter

I trust this must be what I mean
Here in the anyway
Of being in the in between
My soul is on its way
Unfolding like the lotus I
Would rather live than die

Having seen death I tend to see
My life transcend it by
The other side not far from here
That taught me not to fear
Not be a pest but do my best
The rest to destiny

Not knowing but going on to
Embrace the mystery
