For the Moment



The Dao does without doing
Whether I do or not
Redoing and renewing
Through the going through-ing

I am going through it too
Not really knowing how
But to be is what to do
So maybe I know now

The Dow goes up and down but
The Dao flows on and goes
On going like I want to
And haunts me like it knows

Seeing what is going on
Will be temporary
Knowing until it is gone
Still it might be scary

Showing me that this is it
Now for the moment me

Going through it how I get
On with it coming true
Through my ups and downs to see
The Dow is not the Dao

But illusion after all
Before I lose the bet
Seeing through it let it fall
I will get through this yet

Having lost but found my way
I go on anyway
Knowingly go flowingly
The Dao knows what I mean

As if I ever knew
In the in between unseen
Outside society
Having fallen through a crack

As free as I can be
I am never going back
