 The Familiar Stanger

By

Bill Cottringer

Who are You?

You were here before me,

And will be after me;

Sometimes,

You choke my breath away.

Sometimes,

You whack me with a two by four;

Sometimes,

You make me laugh.

Sometimes,

You make me cry;

Sometimes,

You make me feel dead,

Sometimes,

You make me feel alive;

All the time though,

You assure me of your love;

I know you,

You know me;

We are familiar,

But still strangers,

But I don't doubt you.

just be careful how you confront a stranger, you might create an enemy ... specially when he makes "me feel dead " or whacks you "with a two by four" ... i wouldn't trust that stranger at all...

Some strangers can have good connection and be feeling like they're friends already even if they aren't; sad are the ones who were friends once and then would unfriend an old friend for a new friend whom he has not got to know well yet.

Yes, well done William! Strangers can become friends just as quick as friends become strangers. Why is that?
