Too Much Noise

Head spinning, ears ringing,
Enough negative noise already!
Too much belief bashing,
Personal opinion trumping,
Terrible trash Talking,
Meaningless misinformation,
Social media manipulation,
Political poppycock,
Lack of empathy,
Too much intolerance,
Too little patience.
Enough conflicts—
With us vs. life,
Us vs. ourselves,
No need for me vs. you.
Better communication,
More back stories,
Compromise and collaboration;
Less hate, anger and violence,
More understanding and acceptance,
Learn, grow, and improve,
To end the needless divide,
Before you lose yourself,
On one end,
Or in between.
The Prosperity Zone

There seems to be a hardening of thought processes, particularly among older, supposedly wiser people these days. I have tried, time and again to open up discussion, with my brother and sister. My twin brother still seems to be open to ideas sharing and he has been reading some "intelligent" articles recently to improve his thought processes.
On the other hand, my sister seems to wish to polarize her thinking along the lines that are self-destructive rather than open to a better world for all of us. She is withdrawing into what she thinks is a secure existence, but is basically a denial of change. Wish I could open her mind to something better. But it doesn't look like I will be able to do it in the time I have left.
