The ones that are breech borne
emerge cheeks first
safe from the sands that blind
but they are sightless to the world.

They birth towering and no matter
how high the equinox tides rise
they emerge limb after limb at the
darkest hour of the dimmest midnights.

And at the most incensed period
of the elements when earth's cleft parts
spewing from her entrails
ready forms in the image of man.

Well, as is normal after staying on for years with AD it was good to get away. We all need to be refreshed periodically & I became busy with other poetry forums & my art of course. Thanks for asking... Alex

Where have you been my friend? Riveting. Merges the notion of gods with the earth. These words give birth to images of creation and the forming of idols by the hand of unknowing but imaginative and fearful man, who is afraid but hopeful, fearful but seeking. I enjoy this immensely Alex. Bob
