Depression is different for each sufferer; mine is episodic, but always reminds me of where my knowledge will go upon death. I think it's just gone.

Departure

A deepened sense of identity
is found without a light
in darkness born of doubts
that decay into insanity.

Truth lies where comparisons don’t exist,
where no one else might be blamed,
where rotted minds release their souls
in pits of hell or death or girls un-kissed.

One step beyond that looming dark
lies peace the few will crave,
and fewer still whose mind’s demise
will let their souls embark.

Confusion reigns in black abyss
where hope is kept for fools,
the liars of a pious hope
blinded by that missing kiss.

Depression is the closest thing to Hell, may you be spared from it's depths. Well penned Michael.

Anxiety goes with depression, it isn't very much fun for people to experience this either. There's always hope they can find themselves sooner than later though.

But these written words, especially if they have meaning, will live on.
