Wish for snow on Christmas Day


To make bright your nurtured dream –


For cheer and gifts are not enough


To complete the season’s theme.


 


The market place will gather in


Its flock from God’s creation


Whose words and deeds reflect their thoughts


Of love and celebration


 


For the Lamb was born to die for you,


The Father’s gift to pay


For sins the Son did not commit –


We remember Christmas Day


 


So wish for snow on Christmas Day,


But know from whence it’s done.


The One who gave us all we have


Also gave to us His Son.

A beautiful perfect Christmas and reality of Christmas which I am thankful for. I just wish more would remember the true meaning. I love the whole poem, the last verse especially.

Excellent heart touching poem.
So truthful in everyway. Christmas isn't quite Christmas without snow and the reminder you bring is so inspiring of where all the True gifts come from on Christmas day.
