I wrote this one of my home twns of Kermit, Tx. back in the early 1990's. I was getting divorce from my wife, and I was wondering what Love really was to me at the time.

Love is pure, it will endure.
Love is a gate in which to congregate,
Love is perfect, no blemish, no shame,
Love endureth, longer than flesh of time

Loves not proud, nor still, and it surely will not kill!
Loves emotion is satisfied, and streng-
thened,

Love is Gods will, and it and he will heal,
Loves in flight looking for a landing sight,
Loves cupids and arrows, still long suffering, in life or death,

Love is not anquish, nor painful,
Love is humble to the man, or the woman,
Love is a must, and a righteous thing,
Love is not a game, it's tame of that,
Love is powerful, and healthful in every way,

Love keeps me going, each and every day,
Love will say,"I Care"
Loves symbol, is of righteousness and truth,
Love can save the poor, and protect a child,

Love has a positive point, and it will side with the good,
Love is prayer in my heart, for the unsaved soul, thats apart.

Love is to sustain our walk with Christ, and to calm our fears and our troubles,
Love is care for your enemies, at least enough to pray that they will change with faith.

To love our enemies, as Christ loved us.
easier said than done, but only through him, the Son!
