If I were autistic,
(like my brother)
Would I be deemed
Altruistic? Not there?

If I were artistic,
(like my mother)
Would I be deemed
Worthless? Too there?

If I were realistic,
(like my sisters)
Would I be deemed
Acceptable? Right there?

If I were an alcoholic,
(like my father,
And my sister)
Would I be deemed
An asshole? Past there?

If I were athletic,
(like my brother)
Would I be deemed
Approachable? Less there?

If I were an autistic,
(which I Am)
Would I keep deeming
Poetry a life raft? Always there?

I think, I am.
