Let It Close
Most people will not see what is true ,
They’ll paint their fears and wants on you,
One calls you proud, another brave,
A mirror bent by what they crave.
Their stories fail on who you are,
And shape you into what they'll spar,
Their lenses fogged, their sight is thin,
Projecting out what lives within.
To some you shine, to some you glare,
Inspiring here, intimidating there,
But none of this defines your shape,
Their vision bends, their minds escape.
For truth is not in every view,
It rises clear when owned by you,
It waits within, both still and strong,
A steady pulse where you belong.
Call back your say from every test,
Just be yourself, and let it rest,
Return the script you never chose,
Stand in your truth, and let it close.

You’re simply seeing it through your own lens, shaped by your experiences.
It’s your perspective, and I wouldn’t interfere with that. It belongs to you, not to me.
