How many times is too much when cuts to the heart are made? When does the bleeding from a broken heart drown a soul...?

You hurt me one time,
You hurt me three.
You thought you were sublime,
That i could not see

Each time you cut me,
You didn't see me bleed.
So i set you free,
But you planted the seed.

Now i hurt each time your near,
Do broken hearts ever get healed?
Or is it as i fear,
My fate already sealed?

I won't let you make me cry,
I'll hold in what i lost,
Even if i die,
I won't let you see the cost.

This pain you always send,
overcomes me like a flood.
How can you pretend,
That love is in your blood.

Yes, broken hearts do get mended, and also bounce back stronger than ever for the bitter experience !
Take heart Christina, you are not alone, we all go through this learning curve, and emerge eventually the stronger for it, on the other side of regeneration !
Great to see you back on the Board, Christina !
You have been missed ...:)
Love and Blessings
