Sunrise
Fair smidgens of bliss
Kiss my pillow.
Night has had its flight,
And now, I bless the sun.
I focus into awareness
Alone, not lonely.
No sadness, but peace
As I bond with the light.
No longer do I rise
To find
That moldering gape,
That guilty smile.
Morning kisses my gaze.
My body is intact.
No tears, no bruises,
No shame to hide.
Bless indeed the light!
The awakening to find,
The love of self
Greater by far,
Than all castles in the sky
As I begged for kindness
When your hand
Trespassed.
I wake up at sunrise,
Unbroken.
The night has had its flight,
And now, I bless the sun.

I think you are an incredible poet, polished in presentation and always well presented ... Well done!

This poem, "Sunrise" is neatly composed with the emotions of the sage and the words dictated by a wise heart.
