A Valentine's wish for someone very important to me

I cordially invite you
To a place that I call home,
Where children laugh
And smile bright
When through the door you roam.
Where words are drawn in color
To sing the deepest prose
Like long sought after water
From a well where flowers grow.
Come in and join the garden
For one day it will travel far,
To see how long their roots will reach
Or outshine the brightest star.
This home of yours is a doorway
Through which you can find all you need
You’ve only got to shield the love
From elements that mar the seed.
Within these walls that you call home
Are machines equipped quite well
For whatever you aim to cultivate
In growing….
Or crushing…
Or, setting up sail.
With sail you can explore the seas
And let your dear heart soar…
Just know that all the love you’ll need
Is just inside this door.

Where the heart grows…so shall the mind follow.
