Coddled by Lillith’s swoon
And cradled by her true black moon
No rhyme or reason to the motion
Unpredictable emotion
Journey deep into the dark
Take heed
Tis not for faint of heart
Shed your 'self' and stand alone
Before you stands yourself the crone
With Lillith lurking in the depths
To see if you’ll emerge in step
With all that darkness promises

Have you survived the night?
Long it was and quite a fight
Now comes the journey back to light
Ego left with gift of sight
Take breath and release relief
Facing self created grief
Is but one step in this endless circle

It will come again
Lillith awaits within
To tempt and empower
But never cower
To the darkness of Her moon
Or fear the night coming too soon
The light will surely come
When all is done.
