Have you ever gazed at the darkest quilt?
That hangs above you crown with stars of silt
And drawn upon the midnight weary
Of all the day brings upon the dreary
Have you talked to she who croons?
Upon the heavens by name of Moon
And whispered all your secrets hushed
By mundane words and magic crushed
I have done such wondrous things
And let it not pass you by again
I tell you now the moon is near
And leave you will she, I fear
If backs and minds and hearts are turned
In favor of the mundane learned
Yet patiently she awaits the day
When all will meet twilight to play.
