Yesterday I visited a town called Älmhult in Sweden. I was greeted with the biting winds of winter soon as i got off the train. It was a calm town that wakes up around 10:00AM in the morning compared to Mogadishu which jolts to life as early as 5:00 AM. Business is booming in the peaceful areas of Mogadishu while its other parts keep sheltering in the terror of wheezing bullets and rockets. But in Älmhult even after its business doors are open, you see very few people and cars in the streets though peace is abundant and visible in every part of the town. It seems that it is hiding in the shadow of its light as every corner of Älmhult is shining like a new-born star.
I dedicate my poem to the Libraty of Älmhult which I spent few minutes to get some computer services. I enjoyed its magnificent setting and hospitality

It is living in the sound of its silence
Its name is Älmhult
It is a small Swedish town
