My fingertips trace,
idly,
that sacred space
between your soul
and heart.
I apologize
for loving you;
and never finishing
what I start.

I liked this quite well, and while I'm not sure the meaning of never finishing what you started, I don't believe one should ever have to be sorry for loving another. Thoughtful, reflective write.
