So unreasoning, So unreasonable, no method to the madness of this loathsome self-betrayel. My heart unfolds upon itself, a question thrown to the decay. My hands are stained in black, my soul wont wash away.

This evokes an eerie mood... regret, shame, guilt... you are haunted by something that happened. Time to learn the lesson, let it go, forgive and move on. You have a lovely graceful way of expressing deep pain.

No the soul will never was away and I read this one a few times and decided it says a lot in some short verses.
