"Good morning sir,
Must be a nice day to die,
Why do I ask? Oh,
I can see it in your eyes."
"Yes, talk is cheap, one day I may realize,
But, for now, let's just analyze
This predicament I have devised,"
Oh, I just lied, twas an angry fit,
I was just sick of it, and you know it's just
So hard to quit.
I just sit here all alone, so I contrive,
Then lie to survive,
The scene of the crime,
Just to get by I rely on these hands,
And these knives.
"Oh, no sir, I'd be obliged to abide
to your request."
Just let me put it in my chest, there,
By my word, it's not over yet,
As you remember to forget the act I can commit,
I lure in closer to save all nine lives.
Then I pounce, "you weren't ready for that?"
He wasn't ready for that.
Why else would I attack, get him from the back,
"dogs cannot devise the treachery of us cats,
Nobility and stature gives no ability to mature,
And as you sat back I withdrew my attack."
What a whack, he thinks he can win,
He cannot, he must not, he cannot, He's In!
"Caught me off guard but it's none but a scratch!"
Yet this scratch bleeds red, I must be better than them?
"What will you do?" This beasts not old nor new,
Balanced yet imperfect, and the battlefield I knew,
As the blood accrues, I read it in his eyes,
"Begit the lies, I know you have tried,
Yes, talk is cheap, yet invaluable for surprise.
Oh, and you read me wrong, twas not my time to die."
The days go by, and once again he reminds me,
That to bleed is to know life,
And to live is to be free.
That talk is cheap, this devil in disguise's
Only hope is to live,
Those who grow don't always grow wise.
