It’s You

Another day, the storms have passed
I’m grateful I got through.
I feel a peace that comes at last,
And tell myself- “It’s you.”

I remember, easy now-
Just watching all you do-
A love that heals the world somehow-
And all I feel- it’s you.

Smiling like I can’t believe-
With all day long so blue,
This life has something up its sleeve,
So grateful that it’s you.

The night has come with time for sleep,
The years just somehow flew,
But one thing I can always keep
Deep in my heart, it’s you.

I wonder if you think of me-
Then smile to know it’s true .
There’s love and there will always be-
And I’m so blessed it’s you.
