ISN'T IT REMARKABLE HOW, WE CANNOT FOOL OURSELVES? OF COURSE...WE KNOW 'IMMEDIATELY' WHEN WE ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE RIGHT COURSE/IDEA. THE SPIRIT OF GOD IMMEDIATELY LET'S US KNOW...BUT WE 'TOY' WITH IT ANYWAY...TRYING TO CONVINCE OURSELVES THAT IT'S REALLY ALRIGHT. INDEED, YOU ARE RIGHT, IT TAKES TIME. IF ONE DOESN'T REBUKE A NEGATIVE THOUGHT RIGHT AWAY(REBUKE THE ENEMY AND HE WILL FLEE FROM YOU)... IT WILL 'EVENTUALLY' TAKE ROOT AND BECOME A REALITY. NOW, KEEPING IN MIND THAT NOT ALL IDEAS ARE NEGATIVE...SO THEN, ONE SHOULD PRAY FOR GUIDANCE IN EVERY DECISION. AMEN. GOOD WORK, APPRECIATED. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

One time when I discouraged an idea that my mentor/advisor suggested, he countered with… "An idea is very fragile."

John, what I appreciated about this joureny into another "why" was the reminder to me that thoughts take time, but in my case, for the past few months, my poetry has come to me in my dreams. I'll wake up and speak into my iphone notes and lay down the idea... yes, often one that has taken a lot of conscious and subconscious time. Your use of the boots was a firm reminder of how well thoughts can often find so many ways to express. Thoroughly enjoyed this one as it reminded me of when I had the legs, and the feet, to scale rock and snow into the mountain peaks. Now... like your picture, my boots stand as a reminder as well.

Speaking for myself: The creative winds that blow through our minds bring with them many things, and a discerning person must learn how to sail with them. And though there are exceptions.... I believe that life's most meaningful ideas (concerning wisdom, Truth, artistic expression, and self-understanding) are rarely born fully formed. They must be cultivated through patience, reflection, and sustained effort. A "sweet idea" (as you put it) is not just a spark, it's a seed that needs care, courage, and wisdom for it to grow into something meaningful.
