Elvinmaid The Elvinmaid Sits and waits For the elves To return Once again Her eyes start To wonder Over the group Before her And sighs The elves are moving Through the forest Without a sound Bows and arrows On their back One stops Looks around Takes his bow Quietly sits And watches Sighting the boar Through the trees Gently he aims And hits He never misses The Elvinmaid Sits and waits For the feast To begin Her eyes start To wander Over where The warrior stands And sighs He sees her Watching him And walks over To take her hand in his Together they move Softly, as one They turn to each other and meld
