This one's for all the Grinches out there!

There is no Christ in Christmas,
they’ve replaced Him with an “X”
that marks the places you can find
the bargains at their best!

Don’t drive the roads ‘round X-mas—
drivers are full of hate!
And they’ll prove it if you drive too slow
and make them seconds late!

Be careful where you try to park,
there is no courtesy.
Their anger is so quick to spark
they’ll show you no mercy.

Avoid the stores at X-mas time—
I’m telling you it’s right,
to do your shopping earlier
and thus avoid the fight!

But if you need that special gift,
prepare to stand in line
and put up with the irate,
and the cranky ones who whine.

There is no love at X-mas,
unless it’s for a sale,
but the product will be all sold out
and your patience will fail.

There’s tons of greed at X-mas,
it’s the worst time of the year,
when fights break out and tempers flair,
to me it’s very clear...

that if this poem’s about you,
please stop and think awhile
of how much better it would be
to replace anger with a smile.

Yes, there’s no longer Christ in X-mas,
and it’s a dreadful thing I fear—
what if God re-sent His Son
to us THIS time of year?
