Autumn

I breathe the autumn leaves

 

falling

 

 

like silent sentinels beside the smiling pumpkins

 

cold air slaps my bare skin like a Dominatrix with her whip

 

flowers died

trees exposed... In the silence my soul drifts  to boyhood plunges Into leafy piles

 

wishing  I could hold her but she slips away with the wind

 

lesving me to breathe the autumn leaves falling

 

falling

 

 

 

falling.....

Wonderfully penned! I can smell the leaves and feel the wind. No matter what, the leaves will keep falling as time marches on.
