Come with me and stop just for a few moments and reflect, what Christmas is true ly about.

The True Meaning of Christmas

Another Year gone by and Christmas is upon us,
The streets are crowded, the stores are full and all the usual fuss,
Harried shoppers pick and chose gifts that are likely to please,
While a small voice whispers, what about me?

The highways are massed with vehicles rushing hither and yon,
No time to waste on trivial things, we must be up and gone
.Eager to crowd in all that can be done, so much to do and see,
While a small voice whispers what about Me?,

Parties to be arranged feasts to cook, so much to drink and eat,
Collapsing in chairs, too full to stand, after cramming a meal that was surfeit,
Children playing, new toys galore, crowded, around their feet,
While that small voice whispers on, What about me?

Church bells chime, choirs sing, in angelic piety,
Nativity plays , street parades, so much festivity,
Carols sung, greetings come,, decorations to see,
That voice is saying softly, what about me?

I am the reason we celebrate the Season, Christmas is all about me,
Mine was the birth, here upon Earth, it was My nativity,
I came for a purpose, your souls to purchase, You are saved only by Me
So stop in your gaiety, think of man’s fragility, what the reason should be,
Christ is on Earth, Miracle birth, Come Celebrate Christmas with Me!
