at the cross section of life,
watching the world go bye-bye.
And what a sight to behold.
The whole world is in turmoi...
and has been for quite some time.
Most governments are run by ineptocracies...
and have been for quite some time.
Supreme nations self-destruct from within...
and have been for quite some time.
Standing on the corner

And we can witness it all unfold.
I wonder...
could it be happening to us?

I say divert some federal spending for all the big beer companies to airlift non-stop beer drops to all the countries that are mostly sand and rocks, give em all they can drink constantly, never ending supply and they will be so drunk they want be able to shoot straight or would blow themselves up. Just like some people you know that are so uptight all the time, I go, man if they would get drunk once in a while, you might could stand em.

I was in Winslow, Arizona a year and a half ago. While I wasn't standing on the corner, I was taking it all in and thought of "Takin it easy…" Like the Eagles.
It's the same way. We see so much clearly now than we ever did before, so it's much easier to see what's wrong with the planet than it's ever been before.
She's been going away for a long time, but ain't going nowhere very soon.
