Facing Death

What do we know about death?
It is inevitable...
and that is about it.
Eat right and excercise... die anyway

We don't think or talk about dying.
It's the last thing we want to do.
They say there are only two things
in life that are certain... death and taxes.

Now, of course, there is shipping and handling.
But... let's face it...
sooner or later the reaper will apperar.
We just know not when.

So... admit to yourself that the end will come.
Then have your will prepared and
make funeral and burial arrangements
out of consideration for those you will leave behind.

Many things in life are out of our hands.
A Five Wishes document gives you a way
to control something very important...
how you are treated if you get seriously ill.

And Oh!... while you are up... seize the moment.
Remember... lost time can never be found.
Live each day like it's your last.
One day you'll get it right.

A poem with great advice. I love that. Anyone without a will is doing a disservice to their family. And, the will should be general enough so that while the details change, the intent is still able to be carried out. And, by all means, allow at least two people ways to access your computers. We now have so much of our information on computers. If we die and our loved ones don't know or can get that information, it can be very difficult for them.

As for death itself, certainly not as bad as long-suffering before it happens.

Do Not Fear Death
Fear Where You Are Going...
Simply Whence You Get There
You will Not Like It...

So very true! Take it one day at a time. Prepare for what will come naturally. Enjoy life! Make new friends. Love those you have. Keep fit. Eat healthy but, don't deny youself the not-so-healthy goodies that you love.keep your brain in gear with stimulating talk and writings. Remember, you are an impotant cog in the wheel of life!
Keep writing my friend!

You have the right idea concerning this damn death thing. I'm gonna give death the finger. Eh . . . I know it won't make any difference, but it'll make me feel good doing it!
