I met Brenda in 1994, by way of my former co-worker -- her now ex-husband, Mike. Brenda is the epitome of one of God's children, with ceaseless compassion beyond comprehension!

In the grand scheme of all things under the heavens,
I have had the priceless pleasure of knowing you, Brenda.
You exude a passion and compassion which are so incredulous...
that anyone who sees you, and speaks with you, knows...
how giving your heart is.
One of the most invaluable things that I have known in this life,
is having been touched by your very presence.
I always shall remember your glorious dark hair,
your stunning, soft, insightful eyes;
your perfectly inviting, hospitable manner;
your voice; your thoughts... your love for others first,
always putting yourself last.
This world was not ready for you;
no, not nearly worthy of your vivid angelic countenance...
so... go in peace with God,
and remember: You have loved -- in this world,
and you are loved by those who matter;
and you always will be loved... far beyond this realm!
And, from your soul was created two wonderful sons, Alex and Logan,
who always will love and remember you, just as you were;
as you always shall be... an endless stream of purest love and selflessness.
As the days and years go by...
your spirit now may rest in comfort,
knowing that, in this life, you have left your legacy,
within the heart of each handsome son;
and in the sweetest things you've done;
and you have served the Lord quite well;
befriending those lost souls in need...
you've weathered every stormy swell;
with seamless grace...
...and grandest fortitude indeed!.
I don't quite know just how to say goodbye...
I've never been so good at that.
So... Until we meet again,
please know that you are now,
and always shall remain...
a sacrifice so surely great...
that God himself called thee there
to Heaven's glorious shining gate
an angel... Heaven-sent...
and Godly kissed
a blessing to this... unworthy world;
you are so much more...
than sorely missed!
