Why did you walk away, when I whispered softly.. stay... I wanted you as I needed you; I saw the love light in your eyes when silence between us came slowly, as the mist that shaded our memories. Why did you gently slip away my soul my heart with my loving arms around you, holding you when our lips were still on fire that softly came together with your tenderness. Your hands that held mine when our emotions went high you slipped out of my sight when the shadows surrounded us then your tears slowly came down your beautiful cheeks, I held you with each kiss I dried them away I whispered.. I still love you..touch between us faded as the silence between us.
Based on your poem alone, with all of its emotion expressed, there was something as yet not revealed that caused the unwanted schism and apparent silence about it.
