Another one of Addie Williams poems written April 1983. This one also was not titled.
And on this day During the rebirth of Earth I, too, am resurrected Allowed to bloom From retarded bud To life - Only slightly frostbitten And somewhat, therefore, Timid. Timid But not ashamed. Proud rather, For life has come To me Though not unbidden Not unprayed for Not insouciantly In spite of dearth Of hope, And awareness Of undesert And thus gratuitously Fortuitously And I welcome it, humbly.
