The cycle of life...

Poem Artwork

Farewell like change

comes with a price.

Our hearts ache

for those who are gone.

Yet in the midst of pain

memories emerge…

of laughter,

affection,

the sweetness of life.

And the eternal hope

that when we have reached

the end of our path

we’ll join those we have missed,

bask in their love,

and we’ll never be parted again.

Until then, farewell.

Coming full circle in such a spiritual leaning leaves one to ponder if life ever really ends or just reaches a new plateau.....

Be always safe,

A compassionate, loving eulogy to loss, in powerfully rendered lines, Michelle, ones that touch a reader's heart ... well done.
