My world was laden with empty space. Days blended together without a trace. I looked in the mirror, but saw no face. An awfully dark, haunting time and place.
You came along from out of nowhere, Always with a smile to show that you care, Trying to break through my stark, icy stare. A glimmer arose, but I could not dare.
The magnetism was so strong and real, Emotions stirred, long forgotten to feel. My head began spinning, like a wheel, Ostracized, our love, never to reveal.
Remembering those times, I oft' wonder, 'Twas an enchanted spell we’d been under. But our passion, it roared wild, like thunder. The bond we shared was never a blunder.
Feelings faded, many years since have been. Looking back, it was a turning point when You helped renew my self-worth and then, You freed my heart and soul to love again.
Just beautiful, Cynthia, and a gift of a healing relationship straight out of the throne room of heaven, it would seem - was he an angel by any chance?! Love truly does mend and release - as you've wonderfully illustrated here. TY for this encouragement. LOL Kate xx

Cynthia, this is a magnificent heartfelt composition, my love. It is always troubling whenever a relationship fails, especially when one of the parties believes they no longer are worthy to love or be loved. I’m glad that you found yourself and were free to love again. You have brightened my life more than words can ever say. I see you found one of the early Christmas presents under the bed… lol. I just wish you wouldn’t have modeled it for all to see… lol. You’re a real delight and wonderful, classy lady. Thanks for sharing your work and picture… lol.
