We have much to be thankful for in life. Friends may come and go but a few stay in our lives forever. These friends endure all our ups and downs. They are always there with love and compassion. They can always be counted on; a treasure beyond compare.

Forever Friends You know who they are Forever Friends They can live near or far Forever Friends They are always there Forever Friends True friends anytime, anywhere Forever Friends You can text, e-mail or phone Forever Friends With these friends we are never alone Forever Friends Always ready to help another friend Forever Friends True friends anytime, anyplace, until the end. Excellent write John my best friends are mostly non humans...... lol

I'd rather have one good friend, than a 100 fair weather friends. unfortunately, all of my best friends have died. I'm very thankful for my grandkids. They have become my best friends. A very right on poem.

Psychologists say that we can only have four or five true friends in a lifetime. I heartily agree. The rest are just acquaintances. From what I gather from your poem you are writing about the very few.
