This is really meant as a kind of wake-up call to the reader. We are too often wrapped up in our own world, such that we end up doing what we think is best for others, while being completely unaware of the possibly devastating consequences.

We all walk around
wrapped up
in our own little
world of Delusion
thinking we know whats best for others
when we don't even know
whats best for ourselves


the televangelist claims
that if you aren't a Christian
no matter how much you
Love God
or
live your life
you will never go to Heaven
and
are doomed to Hell


the mother who thinks
she's doing whats right
withholds money she owes her son
causing him to overdraw
his account
when he takes a friend
out to lunch


a father cusses out
his son
for a minor mistake
unable to see
that he is working himself
to the bone
trying to get his life
back together


We all walk around
wrapped up
in our own little
world of delusion
unable to see
the effects our actions
really have
maybe Jesus was right
when he said:
"Do not try to pluck
the mote
from your neighbor's eye
before removing
the log
from your own."
