You just brought back some vivid memories of that TV show for me, Doug. I always watched it as a child, wondering why in the world he always wore that Cardigan, even in the summer time; inwardly yearning that he would show up one day, unshaven, hair unkempt, in his tee shirt and boxer shorts, scratching his butt and yawning, as he retrieved the paper from the driveway, yelling, "Bud, get out here and clean up this dog crap."
