Seeing our true selves in The Creators mirror. This piece was characterized from an open vision. The man in the vision is not me. Poetiprose.

Poem Artwork
In the vision,
someone was staring
at you from across the room.
At first, the expression
was unpleasant,
more like
a shadowy semblance
of something nebulous, and
not worth engaging, but as your
focus sharpened, the more you felt
drawn to observe…
.
You could make out sullen eyes
reflected on cracked shards,
a contrary face graven
with antithetic lines,
someone familiar,
staring stoically,
studying you,
causing you to
question if this other was
seeing you as someone downcast,
or burdened emotionally, or perhaps
downtrodden from all the difficult years
you’d spent striving for what ended up
being just beyond your grasp…
.
While
considering
what this others
intentions really were,
the expression turned insulting.
Recoiling, you decided to mirror back
this others provocation, and
aroused the most
acidulous response you
were capable of mustering…
.
The others reaction shocked you.
.
Never before had you witnessed such
a hateful expression directed at you.
Now, your spine began stiffening,
and you felt yourself
being deluged
by loathing.
How dare they look
at you in such a manner…
.
Staring stunned, a
wash of stony emotions
painted the moments muzzy.
It was apparent now that
this pompous prick
had pigeonholed you as just
another dirt-bag, as you had him.
It was obvious too that you were being
targeted with disparaging prejudice,
and there was no way you could
EVER justify this acrimony…
.
Both faces [now] had utter
contempt for the other,
and both faces were
fixed on the other
in unwavering
thorniness.
A rage of emotions
boiled up inside you, and then
sails of remorse billowed open, as
a thought gripped you of a hardworking
person’s accomplishments writhing on a
scorching desert floor; another also-ran
with only rancor in the arsenal…
.
All at once,
bursting into tears,
you saw the other
doing the same.
Leaning forward
you watched the other
doing precisely the same.
Reaching out with your hands,
the other mimicked you exactly. In
shocked suddenness, you jumped to
your feet shaking, as you realized that
this other was not another at all,
it was YOU, viewing yourself
in the Creator's mirror,
a stubborn solipsistic mortal who
worshiped self, and the work of self’s hands,
who had ruined most good and decent things in life,
a soul convinced the mind could save self, and whose
arrogance and alcoholism had kept him [bound]
in spiritual chains for far too long.
.
At last, aghast, and broken in spirit,
you fell to your knees and cried out:
‘FATHER GOD, PLEASE…. HELP ME…”

As a man of God, understand your worth, recognize your value, and LOVE the person God created you to be.

Know you are deeply loved and never alone. Even in your darkest moments, believe there's purpose even in your pain. There is Strength in your struggles. Especially when you can’t understand it, trust in God's plan, for He works all things together for good.

Romans 8:28, 'And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.'"
God is with you, iron sharpens iron, you are loved, not lost or alone, and God Himself is always working on you. So we should be encouraged.

Well done, Amen X 110!

SEEING OURSELVES AS GOD SEES US, AMEN! FOR IN ALL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS...WE ARE AS 'FILTHY RAGS' BEFORE HIM. WE ARE SO QUICK TO SEE THE FAULTS OF OTHERS, BUT NOT OUR OWN. THIS IS WHY, THOUGH SOME MIGHT NOT FEEL LIKE THEY NEED IT...BUT DAILY REPENTANCE IS NECESSARY. FOR WE SIN IN THOUGHT, WORD, ACTION AND DEED...ALL THROUGHOUT THE DAY! SOMETIMES WE ARE AWARE HOWEVER, MOST TIMES...WE ARE NOT. GOD...WHO SEES OUR HEARTS 'KNOWS' THAT WE MAKE HUMAN MISTAKES AND THAT IS WHY HE MADE A WAY FOR US TO 'REPENT'. THIS IS WHY...NO ONE BUT HIM, WHO IS ENTIRELY SINLESS, COULD DO IT! HE LOVES US THAT MUCH! WHEN GOD WAS SPEAKING AND CALLING FOR REPENTANCE IN REVELATIONS...IT IS GOOD TO NOTE THAT HE WAS SPEAKING TO AN AUDIENCE OF 'SAVED' INDIVIDUALS, WHO THOUGHT THEY HAD IT 'ALL TOGETHER'. I ENJOYED THIS SHARING VERY MUCH, MY FRIEND, AS...ONLY BY 'HONESTLY' LOOKING AT...'THE PERSON IN THE MIRROR'...CAN WE REALLY 'SEE' OURSELVES. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS KEEPER, RICHARD...SO THOROUGHLY ENJOYED. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS.

I love this profound and fiery poem. I often look at myself in the same way,we seem to be our own enemy and our own rescuer rolled into one.

Once upon a time I could not rescue myself, thankfully God did that for me,thus my total belief that The Creator of us all is real.

I really LOVE the way you write and find your poetry very inspirational.

Looking into the mirror and seeing the true nature of oneself, perhaps the most difficult challenge we face as humans. So well described in this unexpected, revealing poem.

We know these cons...We know these dogs going back to the thing that made them sick again and then come back trying to use and deceive..

Yes I have known and currently know someone like this and thank God He is helping me to iron sharpen iron in profound discernment, protection, wisdom and boundaries.. Especially to those who try to use witchcraft...It has to be VERY tough love with these people and I will have it no other way and they will NOT steal my joy or peace ! Yet I am being transformed greatly into greater depths of discovering more discernment for His Kingdom and my peace of mind safety. I truly believe discernment has kept me alive all these years, that gut, knowing about others actions, motives, thoughts and intensions just when they don't suspect you know !

This write is intense mirror indeed. Breaks my heart that those ones who never claim strength out of their shadows always succumb to this inner demon manifestation and claim weakness, then return as the dog!!!!. Breaks my heart that many are headed and are there in a place of eternal suffering, if they just would have humbled themselves and still can with breath. They still can use the weapons' of warfare through God that are mighty through ONLY Him to cast down imaginations and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God...

And it requires a repentance and a true turning- not the con they can be, especially towards God. He knows everything~~ I am only a candle reflecting what He has brought me through to help light the way- i am nothing without Him every second- that I bend the knee not once, not twice but daily! Breaks my heart how they refuse to see and get a hold of their own strengths. I knew long ago as I saw my mother's alcoholic life in a disastrous way i would NOT follow, but almost did in a different form BUT refused to die and pulled myself up, that I am stronger, better and blood purchased, then He met me half way.

Many will be drawn to the light, many will only want you to carry them however in some co-dependant way..Nope, not doing it- don't care how much they hate me. Spiritual battle between us and the forces must be discerned and battled daily with His blood...I will bare for others who try to turn, I will carry only if they are truly sold out as I was that mirrored dirty filthy wretch I rebelled against Him. They have a choice still to bend or reap the whirlwinds coming....Thank God until up until our last breath are we STILL redeemable only through His blood. Your a man who deeply cares about the salvation and love of creation Richard.. Keep shining your light, love and profound wisdom discernment as always..

Your writes are always to engage inner reflection and stirring great emotions for the reader for world change for His good!

Peace to you & Michelle,
