Singing Where Nobody Goes Ron AI

Where Nobody Goes

Down in the country,

Where nobody goes.

Got no money,

No new clothes.

Barely get by,

On what I got.

And what I got,

Ain't a lot.

Food I gather,

Or catch if I can.

There's no free lunch,

In nobody’s land.

But life is simple,

If you like it that way.

Trade or cash,

If you have to pay.

I'll see you soon,

Where nobody goes.

We're all headed there,

As our debt grows.

I really enjoy your verses, Ron. This is a real keeper for me. It captures the essence of the state of ‘have nots. Write what you know and this shows you do and did. My favorite stanza is #3, the line “In nobody’s land.” — as in the movie ‘Captain Fantastic’, “they locked up the food.” I hope you’ll write more verse from your wealth of life experiences, Ron. ~~ djl
