A CRY FOR HELP.

She hurt me again last night,

It's useless trying to put up a fight.

Again I cried myself to sleep,

She showed no care, even when I weep.

A friend to some, to me she was mother.

For the hurt and pain, there was no bother.

This be our secret, and I'd promise not to tell.

For fear of a beating I could not yell.

Each night I ask myself why,

When to gain her love I'd always try.

No one listens, no one cares.

For fear of what they will see and hear.

Invade my privates with objects that hurt.

Fearful of the day 'cause I'm dirt.

Nowhere to hide, no peace of mind.

Her shadow fills the room and I go blind.

This quiet does have an eerie sound.

Death, do you care how I'm found?
