You rock, Gran'ma!! Paint eh picture perfectly. Started to say "colored." Gran'ma's the ones bought out Crayola. Going with colored for a moment, I like that you go outside the lines sometimes. Awww, yes I have 15 nephews and nieces, but two young nieces are so close to my heart. Spec as they love how to trip up dad with Kung Fu techniques.

"...I stand in their dust.." yes, Liz, that's what it is and they disappear around the corners of life; your love for them is beautiful and admirable and don't worry they'll appreciate it more later.

I remember how swift the years went by when my grandchildren were young and I hardly had a chance at hello and good bye in their early years. However,it gets better when they are of school age then they give us more of their time then the moms gave us with them.Well done, Liz!

Nice tribute, Liz...print it out and put it in a scrapbook to remind them in their later years, perhaps your granddaughters will be future Authors Den members writing a poem about their grandma one day...I'm glad that everything has worked out for your family...be well.
