Winning Entry In Listener Magazine - Poetry Corner
(opening line by Sam Hunt)
She blows me out of the bay
Been gusting to gale-force all day
Once lured by her warm, gentle breeze
Left behind calm, familiar seas
This Storm has been brewing for years
Shifting clouds, raining down bitter tears
Claps of thunder speak volumes when heard
Unlike feelings, vaguely absurd
The question is, who rocked the boat
Or if, in fact, we were ever afloat?
Never asked if I wanted to stay
She just blows me out of the bay.
I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work.
I wanted to purchase a sukiyaki sub. I parked my car in an area of
Eight e-books regarding Pathological Narcissism, relationships with abusive
narcissists and psychopaths, and the Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).
Thanks,
