I sat on my deck watching
the heavens burst into flame,
while I marvelled at the array
of vibrant hues boldly splashed
on the Masters canvas we call sky
thinking how blessed am I  that
each evening I could  watch another
live panting unfold before my eyes
without a hint of disguise

Each one with its own unique design
making this heart of mine swell with
admiration for the artist who makes
me awestruck the wonders He performs
each day as we go on our merry way with rarely a word of praise to say

As sunset fades into twilight,and twilight into indigo I get lost in the splendour of the stars and moonglow, my poetic imagination begins to flow with the magic of  Creastor's nightly show, my passions stirred by such beauty intoxicated and  enchanted by the pageantry, I take up pen and pad to record the mystery
