Fear, A Real Short One~

Addresses how fear once bound, a person now free, of fear, anxiety, and panic.

A variation of this is something I wrote about 6-7 years ago, when I was a 'total agoraphobic' for the most part.

We were on the Interstate, I had a panic attack, and this (variation) came to me, I jotted it down somewhere on a piece of paper in the car, after that I started 'thinking it' and eventually living it.

To say I am anxiety free would be a total lie, but to say I am much better is total true . While the anxiety will never be totally gone, as I have the type people are born with, in my age I can say I am better at coping now.

So now you know the story of my 'thought' on fear I said I would not be getting 'personal here' but to me this is a milestone i have crossed and perhaps it may touch someone else as it did me when I wrote it so long ago.
Help, I hope for anyone deluged with anxiety and all the 'sic' wonderful symptoms that come with it.

I am me, I am comfortable in my 'own skin' much of the time.

Mistress Reba~

~Fear~

Fear once controlled my life
Until one day it struck me
I had no life
Because of fear

Living with fear ruling me
Meant I was not living at all

I let my fear go
My fear no longer binds me.

~Peace Love Light~

Light too, is where you find it
Do not be afraid to seek it
Even in subtle places

This is a great and well informed poem.I can honestly say that I am proud that you have look at fear in the face and knock it down.Even though you are not anxiety free, you have learn to deal with it and not let it stop you from living a full and happy life.I commend you for it.You are a better human being in my eyes :-),take care
