What Is Normal

What is normal?

Can you tell me?

Whatever it is

I don't know

I thought I was normal

Once....but I never was

I never will be

I have learned to

Accept my abnormality

And gross imperfection

There is no true peace

In striving, lamenting

But in relaxing

Sinking down into

Who and What you are

However far from perfect

Your who and what may be

What is normal?

An dream, a lie,

A disturbing illusion

Fostering unrest and regret

Beings of light and darkness

On a journey of discovery

I am not normal,

Nor are you

Embracing one's self

Is the greatest act of love

I LIKE YOUR DIRECT QUESTION; 'WHAT IS NORMAL'? NOBODY REALLY KNOWS, 'CAUSE....WHAT'S NORMAL FOR ONE IS NOT FOR ANOTHER AS IT DEPENDS ON SO MANY 'THINGS'. THOROUGHLY ENJOYED, MY FRIEND. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

An interesting question Susan, that I'm certain no two individuals will answer the same. Brought to mind this: If people truly understood the healing power of laughter and joy, many of our fine Doctors would be out of business. Joy is one of The Creators greatest medicines. Joy is always healthy, and tends to bring abnormal conditions back to normal. Thanks for your thoughts. Hope you're well. rlc

What is normal for me, may not be for others. They may say I am not normal but you are right dear, What is normal.

You've hit on an eternal truth. What we are is normal. And we can't let others determine what normal is for us.

That's whenever I hear someone say they want things to be moral, they are referring to what some people think is morality. In other words, societal mores that I become rigid and accusative. Step outside those rules and you are not normal, you are immoral.

When someone spouts morality to me, I run the other way.

Ron
