~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                            wandering into the horizon
into an unknown stream of madness
flowing from within its own distinctive
shade of sadness
from a mysterious
mythology of a pre-infected world
its atmosphere
almost insufferable
its hatred, jealously and fear
exploding with splinters of mental metal
penetrating the core of planetary perception
where mistaken beliefs
have smothered love and hope
where manifestos of modern existence
swell into shallow expressions of lost body and soul
undergoing a transformation
necessary to purge the particles of foreign substance
to reflect and wonder
about what to do with freedom once you have it
perhaps to delve into the creative being
sharing the synapses of uncommon expression
Good to see you, Bob, and yes I missed this for quite sometime as I had not been able to get onto AD off of chrome, but now that I am here I must say I miss your posts and just knowing you are still hanging around in this world of pandemic, makes me quite happy...-e-
I think the world we once knew is gone forever, Jude. A thought-provoking pen.
Your poem reflects a lot of reflective thinking going on. This morning, an economist clearly showed some of the better outcomes of the current crisis we are faced with, primarily the conundrum of people dying from the virus on one hand and dying from a lost economy on the other. But this very forced situation of being required to do things from home has shifted long-held practices like going to the doctor changed to tele-visiting, making medical decisions much faster and more efficient, like the doctors have been wanting for a long time, but people refused to take up. The same thing is true of shopping. I first shopped remotely in 1990 when I would call the manager of the local grocery store. We would go down through my weekly list he had and check off the items I needed. He would then deliver them to me and even unpack them and put them in their proper places.
It's the shallowness of the Democrats Party to use the Fear tactic to install the fear into the public. They are so desperate to bring President Trump down they would do anything to achieve that, even to the extend of hurting the American economy. Someone who works in D.C. is actually witnessing the kind of madness of the Dems' mentality. They would laugh giddily at the rise of the unemployment rate so they could crumple the economy that Trump has worked so hard to build. The daily stats of the COVID 19 was proven to be fake stat which has been jacked up by the reporters when reporting. Secret mic has captured two anchors discussing what stat to use when reporting to the public in front of the TV. They were told to use the fake hjgher stat. The Dems don't care if people are unemployed. They would clap their hands when the lockdown continues. You know you have a good President in America. Pray for him!
