Time ever turning, never stopping. Are we the slaves to time?

Time, what a respite!
You come along and we're on your ride
Where you go to - no one knows for sure
But we're on your train wherever you roam
Be it near or far, up or down
Father Time as we call on you
You don't seem to hear our cries
Pause will you please so I can have my ties
To life - my moment in the sun to have some fun
That's the whole mystery of you are
You rule all and you wait for no man
The Chinese say you rule all the twelve organs of the body depending again on the time of the day.
Between heaven and earth, you are the way.
You rule for forces of day and night
Black and white, left and right
Yin and yang - man and woman
You govern life and death
You balance all the energies
Even Mother Nature her good self
When we can get the best treatment we need and want from you - precious time Or, our precious time you tend to fool us, or am I mistaken by your indivisibility and inability to hold
We can neither see you or hear you
Touch you, smell you, or taste you
But we know you are there ever waiting
But ever going for a nonstop ride to where?
For we know not where we go - we just do - go
Time you're our maker, friend, and foe
With not a care in the world but just to
Get us on our way - we're in it for the ride, for the journey, our destiny and our final destination and resting place.
