The merriment unfolds
Before my very eyes
In the midst of forest
I hear the tree’s contented sighs
I smell the apple blossoms
As the sweet aroma lilts in the air
Creating a quality
Of a world of peace and care
No worries to upset my day
Love and tranquility dance hand in hand
With the long haired fairies
That rule this enchanted wonderland
Their beauty is timeless
And their wisdom is astute
They have lived here for centuries
In this land of Pan’s lute
Leaving our hideaway
We walk hand in hand
Breaking the concentration
Of this fairy filled land
One beauty approaches me
In the ethereal night
Taking a lock of my hair in her fingers
Caressing it in the moonlight
“Finally together.”
One whispers in my ear
“We’ve been waiting for this
“For many, many a year.”
You look up in question
And meet another’s gaze
She reads your mind perfectly
Before she also relays
“Your paths have always been connected.”
Then stares directly into your eyes
“She’s been yours forever.”
Is her answering reply
The night progresses beautifully
As our love soon ignites
Validating the fairies wishes
We make love in their approving sight
They smile and dance
As we love the night away
Giving their blessing
Until they disappear with the light of day
